Upload your CV

Go to CV in the main nav. Drag a PDF or DOCX onto the upload area, or click to choose a file. The 10MB limit applies.

Once it uploads, the app extracts your CV into structured "career blocks":

• Personal profile — your summary line
• Work history — one block per role (company, dates, description, achievements)
• Qualifications — degrees, certifications
• Skills — grouped by category
• Achievements — standalone wins not tied to a specific role
• Links/extras — portfolio URLs, languages, anything else

You'll see all extracted blocks on the CV dashboard. They're reusable: you can drop them into the CV Builder, reference them when writing STAR stories, or use them as the basis for a tailored CV per job.

If extraction misses something or gets it wrong, edit the block directly — there's no penalty for tweaking. The extracted text isn't your only source of truth; you can also create blocks from scratch.

If extraction fails entirely, the most common cause is a scanned-image PDF (no embedded text). Re-export from your editor as a regular PDF, or paste the text into a Word document and upload that.
