Build a CV with AI
If you don't have a CV to upload, the AI builder takes you through it section by section. Open it from the CV dashboard ("Build CV with AI") or go to /cv/build.
You'll move through seven short steps: name the CV, fill in personal details, add work experience, add education, add skills, write a professional summary, then create. There's a live preview on the right the whole time.
Where the AI helps:
- Bullet points — under each role, type a few rough notes about what you did, then click "Generate with AI". The AI returns 3-5 polished, action-led bullet points. Edit or delete any you don't like.
- Skills — once you've added a couple of roles, "Suggest skills" pulls a list from your experience and the role you're targeting. Add the relevant ones; ignore the rest.
- Summary — when most sections are filled, "Draft with AI" writes the 3-4 sentence intro at the top of your CV based on everything else.
The "Target role" you set on the first step shapes all of the AI suggestions. If you're applying for a senior product role, say so — bullets and skills will lean that way.
When you finish, your sections are saved as career blocks and a CV document. You're dropped into the regular CV Builder where you can rearrange blocks, hide ones you don't want, and export to DOCX (Pro). Everything is editable later — nothing the AI generated is locked.
The AI suggestions are starting points, not the final draft. Always read them, fix factual claims, and rewrite anything that doesn't sound like you.
