Interview Clarity Get started

Track a job application

Each real opportunity goes under Applications. Click "Add application" and walk through the three-step wizard:

  1. Company and role — name, role title, optional job description. Pasting the JD is what unlocks the analysis.
  2. CV — upload a fresh CV for this role, or attach one of the CVs you've already uploaded under the CV section.
  3. Analysis — the app grades your CV (out of 10) and runs a fit analysis against the JD.

Once an application is saved, you'll see three tabs:

  • CV Quality — the grade plus specific suggestions across structure, impact language, quantification, ATS compatibility, and length.
  • Job Fit — the competency requirements pulled out of the JD, marked critical / important / nice-to-have, and which of your STAR stories cover each.
  • Practice — link to a mock interview pre-loaded with this job's context.

Each application also has a status you can set from the card — Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Accepted, or Rejected — so you can see where every opportunity sits in your pipeline at a glance. Change it from the coloured dropdown on the application without opening the report.

You can have multiple applications at once. Free tier limits you to one. Archive applications you've finished with rather than deleting them — archived ones stay searchable but don't clutter the dashboard.

The fit analysis is most useful when the JD is at least a paragraph long. A two-line job ad won't produce useful gap analysis.
