Accounts and plans
Sign up at /sign-up with your name, email, and a password. You'll need to verify your email before you can use AI features.
Interview Clarity runs on credits — every AI action (mock answer scoring, STAR grade, voice transcription, etc.) costs a small number of credits. Two plans:
- Free — £0. 30 credits / month, resets on the 1st (UTC). All features available; you're only gated by your balance. No top-ups.
- Member — £4.99/mo (or £49/yr). 300 credits / month, plus the ability to buy top-up packs. Includes a 7-day free trial.

Top-up credits never expire. They sit alongside your monthly grant — when you spend, your monthly credits go first; top-up credits cover the rest.
What things cost
Most AI actions cost 1–3 credits. Voice transcription is 5 credits per minute. Interviewer voice (TTS) is 1 credit per 1,000 characters. The exact cost is shown when you hit your balance limit.
Manage your account
Go to Account in the sidebar to see your balance, buy top-ups, and view recent activity. The Account section there also lets you:
- Change your email — you'll be signed out and asked to verify the new address before signing back in.
- Reset your password — we email you a secure reset link.
- Manage your subscription (Members) — opens the Stripe billing portal to update your card, view invoices, or cancel.
- Export your data — download everything we hold about you as a JSON file.
- Delete your account — permanently erase your account and all your data. This can't be undone, so you'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
To change your display name and preferences (theme, text size, interviewer voice), go to Settings.
